About Us
Our team includes our Lead Architectural Designer and owner of the company Jackie Ryser.
She is a proud alumna of the University of Utah College of Architecture and Planning, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Ecology and Sustainable Design. This academic foundation provided her with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices and the intricate balance between urban development and ecological preservation.
In addition to her bachelor’s degree, she also holds an associate degree in architectural design, alongside a double minor in Architectural Studies and Dark Skies Studies. These qualifications reflect her deep commitment to exploring innovative architectural solutions that harmonize with natural environments, even at night, preserving the beauty of the night sky.
Her unwavering passion for our planet and sustainable design is the driving force behind New Ryse Sustainable Design. The company is recognized for its dedication to creating home designs that not only exceed client expectations but also contribute positively to addressing the planet’s pressing climate challenges. By integrating sustainable practices into every project, New Ryse Sustainable Design seeks to inspire change and promote environmental stewardship.
Our newest employee, Interior Designer Carly Newell enjoys working in dark aesthetics and draw her inspiration from nature and patterns around her.
She finds beauty in the interplay of shadows and light, the way light filters through the dense foliage, casting intricate designs on the forest floor. Every leaf, branch, and pebble tells a story.
She strives to weave these tales into her art. The delicate veins on a leaf, the spirals of a seashell, the symmetry of a spider’s web, all these natural wonders serve as her muse.
She graduated from The Interior Design Institute with an Interior Design Certification. After completing a six-month internship with New Ryse Sustainable Design, she was hired on as a full-time Interior Designer.
With visions aligned, her contribution to our team makes NRSD the company it is today.
Our GeoMapping Manager and owner of Sky Eye Drones LLC Jack Ryser provides mapping and modeling to assist in building your perfect home.
Aerial mapping and modeling allows your architect to plan out your home exactly how you want it.
Sky Eye will shoot potentially hundreds of photos from the sky, stitch them together with very advanced technology, and provide a completed Ortho mosaic map for use in your home design.
This mapping is used to ensure the topography is appropriate, and the placement of your home takes advantage of the special nuances of your unique lot.
This method of mapping helps the architect determine Passive Home requirements such as building orientation.
Aerial mapping is truly one of the great advances in technology for home building today.
